Find Better Coverage
The next step is to find better coverage of the claim and/or information you were seeking.
You may decide to find better coverage even before you actually read/watch the source. This may occur if your investigation of the source makes you think that it isn’t trusted, in-depth, or useful enough for your needs. Or, you may decide to find better coverage after reading/watching the source, if you have remaining questions or concerns.
Finding better coverage may mean you strive to identify and read the best, most reliable source that is available. Or, it may also mean you strive to read/watch a wide variety of sources in order to understand the scope of a debate, identify trends, and note the general consensus.
Example
For example, maybe we want to find better coverage about the health benefits of meat.
A better source might be the website “Protein Foods” - hosted by the US Department of Agriculture.
